Job Description
- Candidates working in this post are required to ensure compliance with legal requirements and conformance with the Emera EMS Standard.
- They’re also accountable for environmental performance reporting across all aspects of NS Power operations.
- Applicants for this post are also required to work with provincial and federal environmental regulators in support of NS Power’s operations working at this post.Â
- They’re also appointed at this post to provide guidance and support for environmental permitting, compliance monitoring, as well as risk identification and mitigation working at this post. Â
- Candidates are also appointed at this post to anticipate and communicate the impact of emerging environmental regulations and policy on the operations of the Company.Â
Job requirementÂ
- They must have a bachelor’s degree in science or engineering along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of Environment to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must demonstrate strong relationship skills and an ability to work well with people at various levels within the organization to be eligible for this post.Â
- Candidates must be innovative thinkers along with a track record for translating strategic thinking into action plans and output. Â
- Candidates for this post must have exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior management to be eligible for this post.Â
- They must be comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines, exceptional prioritization, and organizational skills to be preferred for this post.
