Job Description
- Candidates who applied for this post are appointed to start the day in the depot, sorting and preparing the day’s deliveries working at this post.
Candidates are accountable for spending most of the day outside, delivering mail and packages by foot or by vehicle to customers en route to be eligible for this post. - Candidates appointed at this post are required to return to the depot to unload the day’s incoming mail and packages for later delivery working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates applying for this post must have a valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s license with a safe driving record for at least 3 years to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants who apply for this post must attain the ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg regularly throughout the day to be considered as an asset for this post.
- They must attain the ability to work in all types of weather and must ensure the availability to be on-call to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must ensure their availability to work between 5h00 am and 8h00 pm along with the ability to read, write and speak English and/or French to be considered as an asset for this post.
Work setting

- They must have prior experience in making deliveries or working as a driver to be eligible for this post.
