Job Description

Customer Service Manager leads front end operations and supports customer service excellence throughout the store.
This is a permanent hourly position with Walmart Canada.
The role oversees customer service activities, cashier support and operational compliance.
Associates contribute to team development, store efficiency and customer satisfaction.
The position combines leadership roles with daily oversight.

Responsibilities

Follow workplace safety practices and emergency rules.
Support theft prevention and store evacuation processes when required.
Address customer and associate concerns professionally.
Provide guidance and support to front end associates.
Monitor front end coverage and customer flow.
Coordinate associate breaks and register coverage.
Support outlying registers when needed.
Train associates on company systems and procedures.
Review scanning accuracy and productivity standards.
Support company programs, discount programs and EAS procedures.
Oversee purchase, return and exchange transactions.
Provide approvals and assist with transaction corrections.
Review compliance with company transaction guidelines.
Monitor EAS processes and alarm response procedures.
Review Failure to Deactivate logs for accuracy.
Prepare registers for opening and closing activities.
Provide change to cashiers as needed.
Maintain front end cash levels.
Complete register audits and cash reviews.
Promote company sponsored programs and customer initiatives.
