Job Description

  • The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
  • The candidate must be capable of erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • The candidate will be responsible for mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • The candidate must help the medical examiner in charge.
  • The candidate must assist in the demolition of buildings.
  • The candidate must clean and stack salvaged materials.
  • The candidate must remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must be able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and more than 45 kg (100 lbs.).
  • The candidate should be client focused.
  • The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate must be flexible.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.

Work site environment

  • The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

  • The candidate should work from a remote location, the practice of employees doing their jobs from a location other than a central office operated by the employer.

Equipment and machinery experience

  • The candidate must have experience operating various tools such as reciprocating saws, circular saws, concrete saws, mortar and concrete mixers, grinding machines, chippers, jackhammers, air compressors, air guns, nail guns, drills, augers, trampers (jumping jack), torches, small front end loaders, chain saws, compactors, forklifts, and sledgehammers.

Construction specialization

  • The candidate must be skilled in the construction of industrial, commercial, and institutional buildings.

  • The candidate must be bondable.
  • The candidate should be subjected to a thorough criminal background check, driving record check (abstract) and drug test.
