Rescon Concrete Restoration Inc. based in Calgary, AB is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Construction labourer and helper who are self-motivated and have good interpersonal skills. The candidate who got selected will be required to start work as soon as possible. The vacancies refer to Permanent employment or Full time job. Job Description

  • The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
  • The candidate must be capable of erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • The candidate must be able to mix, pour, and spread materials.
  • The candidate must remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
  • Candidate having experience is an asset.
  • The candidate must be able to lift weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and more than 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • The candidate should be dependable.
  • The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
  • The candidate must be flexible.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.
  • The candidate must be hardworking.

Equipment and machinery experience

  • The candidate must be familiar with circular saws, mortar and concrete mixers, grinding machines, jackhammers, air compressors, drills, torches, and sandblasters.

  • The candidate should be subjected to a thorough criminal background check as well as a driving record check (abstract).

Transportation/travel information

  • The candidate must have their own transportation.
  • The candidate must have their own vehicle.
  • The candidate must be willing to travel frequently.
