Job DescriptionÂ
- Candidates working at this post are required to transport maintenance machinery, between floors and job sites working at this post.
- They’re also required to clean and store equipment and machinery and also required to cleanse glass areas requiring ladders, scaffolding or other extension equipment working at this post.
- They’re also appointed at this post to clean washroom floors including stripping and finishing.
- Applicants at this post are required to clean the staircase and elevator cabs were ladders and Load and unload supplies and replenish cleaning solutions working at this post.
- They’re also appointed at this post to follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Applicants at this post are required to notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems working at this post.
Job requirementÂ
- Candidates for this post must attain prior experience in performing various cleaning, housekeeping and maintenance activities in an institutionalized environment to be eligible for this post.
- They must attain prior experience in using floor maintenance machines, cleaning equipment, materials and solutions to be preferred for this post.
- Candidates working in this post must acquire knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the provisions that apply to this work including WHMIS to be preferred for this post.
- Candidates working in this post must attain the ability to lift, push and pull heavy items as well as climb ladders.
Work settingÂ
- Candidates at this post are appointed to mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications working at this post.
