Job Description

  • The candidate must sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
  • The candidate must dust furniture.
  • The candidate will be responsible for vacuuming carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • The candidate will be responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and polishing kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • The candidate must handle and report lost and found items.
  • The candidate will be responsible for picking up debris and emptying trash cans.
  • The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • The candidate will be responsible for washing the windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • The candidate must clean the changing rooms and showers.
  • The candidate will be responsible for enforcing policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
  • There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • The candidate must be punctual.
  • The candidate should be dependable.
  • The candidate should be organized and flexible.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.
  • The candidate should give importance to values and ethics.
  • The candidate must have patience.
  • The candidate must be honest.

Work setting

  • The candidate should be able to work in a school or educational institution/establishment comprising establishments that provides instruction and training in various subjects.
  • The candidate should work in a child care centre, day nursery, or crèches, probably the most formal childcare setting.
