A thorough understanding of duties and responsibilities is a prerequisite for candidates, and they should endeavor to excel. They have a range of responsibilities, each of which help the theatre’s daily functions and can include duties in concessions, on the floor and at the box office, amongst other tasks. They are accountable for greeting and assisting customers, selling tickets, and providing information about movies and showtimes. They are responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages, handling cash transactions, and maintaining cleanliness in the concession area. They are responsible for rnsuring customers find their seats, helping with any special seating requirements, and maintaining order in the theater.

Job description
- Candidates cheerfully greet patrons while providing movie, special event, and general theatre information.
- They accurately sell tickets, accept payments, and make change, all while properly operating Point of Sale terminals and ticket printers.
- Additionally, they must effectively communicate via a two-way radio and adhere to theatre policies for selling admission tickets.
- Furthermore, they are expected to answer the telephone courteously and professionally.

- Candidates should be team-oriented, energetic, friendly, and outgoing.
- Enjoying work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment is a must, and an appreciation for the flexibility that evenings and late nights offer is essential.
- Candidates should also embrace job variability.
Work setting
- Candidates are required to have Provincial Smart Serve or Proserve Certification where applicable, and being of legal age to serve alcohol in fully licensed theaters would be an asset.
