Job Description
- Candidates working at this post are required to pack member orders into boxes and load them to a separate cart or flatbed.
- They’re appointed to check the packaging for tampering and follow all safety and security procedures.
- They’re also appointed to assist members in loading orders into the car when appropriate.
- Candidates are appointed to run for items such as merchandise, boxes, register supplies and item numbers as requested by cashiers to keep lines moving smoothly.
- They’re also appointed to transfer items not on a belt to a separate cart or flatbed as cashiers scan them.
- Candidates are required to follow proper departmental procedures for the performance of duties.
- Candidates are appointed to maintain the cleanliness of the register area and general front-end area.
- They’re also required to cleanse spills and trip hazards immediately.
- Candidates are also appointed to retrieve carts and flatbeds from the parking area using a rope with a clasping hook, pushing no more than 8 carts together.
- Candidates are required to keep the lot area free of debris and sweep in front of the building.
- They’re appointed at this post to perform related tasks such as set up and closing duties for the department such as returning products, collecting paperwork, stocking registers and cleaning the area.
- They’re appointed to operate a mechanical trash compactor/cardboard bailer and support the cashier during various promotions.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must be able to communicate in French to be eligible for this post.
