Job Description
- Branch Operations Manager is in charge of daily operations and administrative support, and the wealth management department’s entire process.
- This is a full-time job at 37.5 hours/week.
- Communicate with the inner departments, support the Advisors’ teams, and teach about the software, systems, and processes.
- Supervise all client account transactions, guarantee compliance with the standards, and maintain correct operations of the branch.
- Take care of the branch’s physical space and tools.
- It involves being in a collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Empower the Branch Director’s mission and make sure that the branch operations are smooth and effective.
- Make sure that the compliance and internal control standards are always met.
- Take charge of technology access, installation, and troubleshooting at the branch.
- Supervise the office operations on a daily basis which includes giving approval for transactions, checking documents, and opening new accounts.
- Conduct training for the new support personnel and plan the ongoing training for the existing staff members.
- Look after and give the sales support team in the branch your assistance.
Requirements
- Successfully completing Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) is a must for this position.
- Capacity to work alone and proactively find solutions.
- Background in the securities business.
- High level of detail orientation accompanied with superb time management.
- Professional demeanor that is a factor in a good work atmosphere.
- Awareness of Royal Bank of Canada Dominion Securities systems and practices.
