Job Description

  • The candidate will be required to take a proactive approach in engaging clients throughout the branch and community, uncovering their banking needs, providing guidance, and recognizing sales and referral opportunities.
  • The candidate will be responsible for focusing on client education and demonstration, using technology to deliver a memorable client experience, drive sales, and retain business.
  • The candidate will be required to respond to client requests and assist with a variety of everyday banking transactions.
  • The candidate should actively listen to clients and engage in conversations to better understand their individual needs.
  • The candidate must proactively take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking problems.
  • The candidate will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with partners to maximize business opportunities and referrals.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must hold Mutual Funds accreditation or be willing to obtain it (i.e., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course).
  • The candidate must demonstrate a strong passion for putting clients first, along with proven success in a hands-on, target-driven sales environment, creating opportunities for growth.
  • The candidate must have strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • The candidate must demonstrate flexibility, a willingness to learn, strong ethics, and ambition to succeed.
  • The candidate must be digitally literate and comfortable using smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other devices.
  • The candidate should have a solid background in building and maintaining client relationships within the finance or service sector.
