Job Description
- The candidate should proactively connect with clients across the branch and in the community, understand their banking needs, offer help and advice, and look for sales and referral opportunities.
- The candidate will be required to focus on educating clients and showing them how things work, using technology to create a good experience while also supporting sales and retaining business.
- The candidate will be required to respond to client inquiries and assist them with a wide range of day-to-day financial transactions.
- The candidate should actively listen to clients and engage in conversations to better understand their individual needs.
- The candidate should take responsibility for resolving client issues and take steps to prevent future banking problems.
- The candidate will be required to build and maintain good relationships with partners to create more business opportunities and referrals.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must hold Mutual Funds accreditation or be willing to obtain it (i.e., Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course).
- The candidate should have a strong focus on putting clients first and be comfortable working in a target-driven sales environment.
- The candidate must have strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- The candidate must demonstrate flexibility, a willingness to learn, strong ethics, and ambition to succeed.
- The candidate must be digitally literate and comfortable using smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other devices.
- The candidate will be required to be fluent in both English and French to support clients with English and French-speaking needs on a regular basis.
- The candidate must have a strong track record of building and maintaining client relationships within the finance or service sector.
