Job Description
- The candidate must prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- The candidate must request or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
- The candidate must bake mixed dough and batters.
- The candidate must train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling.
- The candidate must prepare special orders.
- The candidate will be responsible for supervising the baking and kitchen staff.
- The candidate must frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
- The candidate must ensure that the product quality meets established standards.
- The candidate must schedule staff.
- The candidate must operate machinery.
- The candidate must organize and keep inventory.
- The candidate must prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate should be reliable.
- The candidate should be a good team player.
