Automotive Detailing Technician | Delivery Vehicle Prep

Automobile Detailing Technician assists with preparing Tesla vehicles for customers by cleaning and inspecting vehicles. The purpose of this position is to present vehicles in the best possible way in order to help create a positive ownership experience from day one.

Work load for this position includes detailing vehicles, managing inventory, assisting with vehicle logistics and conducting pre delivery checks. This position is for someone who has a passion for vehicles and can produce outstanding quality in a fast paced work environment.

Job Description

  • The role of Automotive Detailing Technician looks after vehicle readiness and customer delivery tasks at Tesla’s Laval facility.
  • The role focuses on vehicle presentation, customer satisfaction and delivery preparation.
  • Team members work closely with delivery, logistics and vehicle preparation teams each day.

  • The position supports projects across Canada and includes regular interaction with employees and customers outside Quebec.

Responsibilities

  • Clean service, loaner, showroom and customer vehicles.
  • Clean the vehicle properly according to company standards.
  • Use detailing equipment including steam cleaners, vacuums, hoses and buffers.
  • Perform paint correction and vehicle condition reviews when required.
  • Review priorities and manage daily tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Work with teams involved in customer vehicle deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory levels and arrange supplies when needed.
  • Track incoming vehicles and manage inventory across multiple locations.
  • Move and charge vehicles during the pre delivery process.
  • Conduct transportation and pre delivery inspections.
  • Support additional business operations as assigned.

Requirements

  • Hold a Canadian Class 5, G or G2 driver’s licence.
  • Meet insurance requirements.
  • Can lift between 50-60 pounds.
  • History of reliability and commitment.
  • Can work effectively within a team environment.
  • Show strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must support projects across Canadian provinces.
  • Must communicate regularly in English with staff and clients outside Quebec.
