Job Description 

• Candidates will have to guide leaders in reporting and investigating incidents, and determining and implementing corrective actions. 
• Candidates also have to assist with implementing, monitoring, and reporting on strategic safety initiatives. 
• Candidates will also have to provide guidance on internal complaint resolution and work refusal. 
• Candidates will also have to communicate with regulatory bodies on matters related to workplace safety. 
• Candidates are responsible to maintain expertise in safety legislation and best practices and an understanding of their impact on operations. 

Job requirement 

• Candidates must have completed a post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate, preferably in Occupational Health and Safety. 
• Candidates must attain minimum 3 years experience in occupational safety. 
• Candidates must attain strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills. 
• They must attain strong computer skills, with knowledge of Windows applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams. 

Work setting 

• Candidates must attain the ability to work independently, use critical thinking, take initiative and be resourceful.
