Job Description

  • The candidate will be expected to assign and correct homework.
  • The candidate will be expected to create course content.
  • The candidate will be expected to evaluate student progress and discuss findings with students, parents, and school officials.
  • The candidate must attend staff meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops.
  • The candidate must prepare subject material for presentation in accordance with an approved curriculum.
  • The candidate must prepare, administer, and correct tests.
  • The candidate will be expected to provide tutoring assistance.
  • The candidate must teach students through lectures, discussions, audio-visual presentations, laboratory, shop, and field studies.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must be a member of a provincial or territorial teachers’ association or federation and hold a provincial or territorial teaching certificate.
