Job Description

  • The candidate must apply fertilizers.
  • The candidate will be responsible for cutting crops.
  • The candidate will be responsible for guiding growing shoots into optimal development positions.
  • The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and managing the growth of vines, vine canopy and grapes.
  • The candidate must pick row and orchard crops.
  • The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
  • The candidate must manually remove all suckers and water sprouts.
  • The candidate must tie and secure plants.
  • The candidate will be responsible for weeding.
  • The candidate will be responsible for fertilizing and applying pesticides to crops as needed.
  • The candidate must harvest crops.
  • The candidate must load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, livestock, and poultry.
  • The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
  • The candidate will be responsible for cutting horticultural crops.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
  • There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
  • The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
  • The ability to communicate in Spanish and Punjabi will be considered an asset.

  • The candidate must be able to work in all weather conditions.

Work setting

  • The candidate should be willing to work in a rural area, where most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
  • The employer should not cover the candidate’s relocation costs; if the company does not provide a relocation package, you may request an advance on your earnings to cover some of your moving expenses.
  • The candidate must be able to work in multiple locations to support employees stationed at various worksites.
