Job Description

  • The candidate will be expected to collaborate with Human Resources and/or business partners to identify development needs and translate them into learning and leadership development solutions.
  • The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering innovative skill development programmes to help our employees grow.
  • The candidate will be expected to facilitate a variety of organisational development sessions such as workshops, focus groups, and other learning events at the individual, team, and organisational levels.
  • The candidate will be expected to improve the transfer of training from the classroom to on-the-job applications by improving the learning transfer programme and developing programming to support learning transfer.
  • The candidate will be expected to provide thought leadership and to develop an evaluation framework to collect metrics on training initiatives.
  • The candidate will be expected to support talent management initiatives such as performance management, career development, succession planning, and engagement.
  • The candidate will be expected to create and redesign the Learning and Organization Development web presence, as well as have access to tools and resources to improve the end user experience in planning and locating learning resources.
  • The candidate will be expected to act as project manager in order to launch corporate-wide programmes in a planned and consistent manner.
  • The candidate will be expected to collaborate with the Manager on new requests for Leadership programme development and delivery.
  • The candidate will be expected to track and report on development activities.
  • The candidate will be expected to make recommendations on best practises for learning.
  • The candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing learning policies and procedures.
  • The candidate will be expected to develop and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships in order to gain knowledge, gain insight, and inform requirements for any interventions.
  • The candidate will be expected to provide advice and coaching to ensure the successful implementation of talent initiatives.
  • The candidate must be able to visualise data using infographics, charts, graphs, and interactive visualisations.
  • The candidate will be expected to provide consultation and support for the high potential programme, including the identification of high potential talent and the development process for the identified talent.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a degree in Adult Education, Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, or a field related to learning.
  • The ideal candidate should have at least 5 to 7 years of demonstrated experience in the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of adult learning and OD programmes.
  • The candidate should have demonstrated facilitation and presentation skills, as well as the ability to manage participants during learning sessions in communication, leadership development, employee development, and other areas.
  • The candidate should be able to develop, manage, and implement evaluation strategies to assess the impact of behavioural changes on the job and the effectiveness of the development method.
  • The candidate having experience in a public sector, unionized environment is an asset.
  • The candidate has a proven track record of project planning and management.
  • The candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Windows Excel, Office and Outlook.
  • The candidate’s knowledge of SAP and Success Factors is an asset.
  • The candidate should be able to develop, manage, and implement evaluation strategies to assess the impact of behavioural changes on the job effectiveness of the development method.
  • The candidate should have strong relationship management skills as well as the ability to establish credibility at all levels of the organisation.
  • A certification in Strengths Finder, DISC, or other assessment tools would be advantageous.
  • A candidate with HR Generalist experience is advantageous.
  • The candidate should have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • The candidate should have strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • The candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • The candidate should be organized and flexible in nature.
