Job description
- Candidates will perform in a senior capacity for UBC IT Tier 2 technical service and support.
- They May act as a queue manager in prioritising work to Support Analysts within the team, and other functional support resources in other faculties or departments as required.
Job requirement
- Candidates should possess the capability to provide advice on information technology improvements, services, policies and procedures.
- They need to have the capacity to design basic record and report formats.
Work setting
- Candidates should be capable of developing training materials and provides training for users in use and configuration of software, hardware, network systems and peripheral equipment
- They must have the ability to assist users, both remotely and in-person, to diagnose and resolve problems, escalate when necessary, and document problem status and action taken.
- They must possess the talent for performing preventive maintenance tasks, troubleshoots and repairs on a variety of computer systems and peripheral equipment.
