Job Description

  • Stock Unloader Associate supports product receiving, inventory movement and stocking activities throughout the store.
  • This is a temporary fixed term hourly position with Walmart Canada.
  • The role works in a fast paced retail environment that supports daily store operations.
  • Associates help maintain inventory flow from receiving areas to the sales floor.
  • The position combines product handling with customer service support.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and reset the receiving area.
  • Unload general retail products from trailers and incoming deliveries.
  • Complete live unloading of remaining stock.
  • Move pallets of products to the sales floor.
  • Manage standards for refrigerated and frozen items.
  • Help with stocking products on store shelves.
  • Provide customer service when needed.
  • Label and place excess inventory in designated locations.
  • Follow company safety procedures and workplace policies.
  • Complete safety sweep logs and maintain a clean work area.
  • Make sure displays and fixtures remain secure.

Requirements

  • Can manage a high volume workload in a busy retail environment.
  • Can remain productive during overnight work periods when required.
  • Can stand for extended periods during the workday.
  • Can bend, lift and move inventory, equipment or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Can complete repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning and product organization.
  • Can maintain attention to detail when handling products.
  • Can follow workplace safety procedures and operational guidelines.
