Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for administering medications.
- The candidate must apply aseptic techniques, including sterile dressing.
- The candidate will be responsible for ensuring infection control.
- The candidate must observe and document the therapeutic and side effects of medications.
- The candidate must take vital signs.
- The candidate will be responsible for providing nursing services to patients within a defined scope of practise based on patient assessment and care planning procedures.
- The candidate must monitor patients’ progress, evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with appropriate members of the healthcare team.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
- Candidate having experience is an asset.
- The candidate must be eligible for practical nurse licensure in their province/territory of employment, have completed the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination, and have CPR and First Aid certifications.
- The candidate should be accurate.
