Job Description

  • The candidate will be expected to provide therapy.
  • The candidate will be expected to counsel individuals and groups in order to achieve more effective personal, social, and vocational development and adjustment.
  • The candidate will be expected to assist clients in managing physical illnesses and disorders.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English or French languages.
  • The candidate must have a Master’s degree.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must hold a provincial or territorial licence and be a member of a professional association.

Work setting

  • The candidate will be required to work in a clinic.

  • The candidate must have prior experience with behaviour modification or behavioural therapy, client-centered or humanistic/experiential therapy, cognitive therapy, eclectic therapy, psychodynamic analytic therapy, psychotherapy, brief therapy, and systemic/interactional therapy.
