Job Description
- Overnight Remodel Associate supports store renovation projects and helps establish standards in newly updated departments.
- This is a temporary fixed term hourly position with Walmart Canada.
- The role works closely with the Overnight Remodel Manager on department setup activities.
- Associates help prepare sales areas, displays and fixtures according to store plans.
- The position supports multiple departments including grocery, fashion, fresh foods and general retail areas.
Responsibilities
- Secure high value products in designated storage locations.
- Set modular layouts by printing labels and preparing display areas.
- Install ESL and DSM components where required.
- Stock products in grocery, consumables, fashion, fresh food and general retail departments.
- Follow cold chain procedures for temperature sensitive products.
- Scan damaged and stolen items to support loss prevention activities.
- Build counters according to provided plans and kit sheets.
- Move counters using approved equipment.
- Set up endcaps, action alley displays and side counters.
- Load fixtures onto trucks.
- Unload fixtures from trucks.
- Follow safety requirements when working in construction areas.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Can work in a temporary fixed term position.
- Can perform overnight duties in a retail setting.
- Can move fixtures and work with store equipment.
- Can stock products across multiple store departments.
- Can follow layout plans, modular instructions and setup standards.
- Can work in construction related areas when required.
