Job Description
- The candidate must make minor adjustments and repairs to furniture.
- The candidate must prepare, sand, and trim wooden furniture and fixture parts.
- The candidate must record information on products inspected.
- The candidate must assemble wooden or metal furniture and fixture parts to form subassemblies and complete articles.
- The candidate must reinforce assembled furniture and fixtures with dowels or other supports.
- The candidate must install hardware on furniture and fixtures.
- The candidate must inspect furniture and fixture subassemblies and finished products for conformance to quality standards.
- The candidate must mark defective parts or products for repair.
- The candidate must make minor repairs to furniture.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
- A candidate with experience is an asset.
- The candidate must be organized.
- The candidate should be reliable.
- The candidate should be a good team player.
