Job Description

The candidate will be expected to examine trees and shrubs in order to diagnose problems and disease.
The candidate will be expected to direct crews responsible for the health and appearance of golf courses and their surrounding landscapes.
The candidate will be required to plant new decorative bushes, flowers, plants, and shrubs
The candidate will be required to apply fertilisers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn care products to remove harmful insects such as mosquitos, wasps, and ticks.
The candidate would be in charge of watering and caring for plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
The candidate must plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental purposes, and other uses.
The candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining plant health.
The candidate will be required to take out weeds and dead plants.
The candidate will be required to trim overgrown limbs, hedges, and leaves.
The candidate will have to lay sod or seed.
The candidate would be in charge of carting and spreading topsoil and other materials
The candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining equipment.
The candidate will be expected to clean up litter and garbage.
The candidate will be expected to help with landscape construction.
The candidate will be expected to rake and collect trash.
The candidate will be expected to complete landscape tasks efficiently and on time, with a focus on quality and production.
The candidate will be required to build walkways and patios, walls, fences, decks, and posts, among other things.
The candidate will be required to dig ditches or trenches as well as perform land clearing tasks.
The candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment needed to complete landscape construction projects.
The candidate will be required to conduct general maintenance duties such as cleaning walkways, fixing fountains, and other duties.
The candidate will be required to apply fertilizer to help enhance growth.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the landscaping design and ensuring plant growth.
The candidate will be required to perform routine cleaning duties
The candidate will be required to maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures
The candidate will be responsible for overseeing maintenance repairs to equipment, landscape structures, outdoor furniture, and walkways.
The candidate will be responsible for keeping the landscape thriving, healthy, and effectively designed
The candidate will be expected to work closely with garden designers and landscape architects to ensure that the garden meets the client’s expectations.
To perform work activities, the candidate must be able to read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications.
The candidate will be responsible for transforming and designing the terrain to meet the client’s requests
The candidate will be required to write basic progress reports on a daily basis.
The candidate will be expected to operate and maintain landscaping equipment.

The candidate must be able to operate Weed trimmer or edger, Sod cutter, Small engine equipment, Pick-up truck, Chain saw, Front end loader and Tractor mower.
The candidate should have clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations
The candidates will be required to work in confined spaces.
The candidate should be willing to work in an outdoor environment for long hours, including tolerance for pests and thorns.
The candidate will be required to work in wet or damp, dusty, hot and cold weather conditions.
The candidate will be required to work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
The candidate should have a thorough Criminal record check.
The candidate should be bondable and easily communicate
