Lucky Dragon Restaurant is located at Haines Junction, YT. The company is currently looking for applications for the role of Housekeeper. We are seeking a self-disciplined individual with exceptional interpersonal skills. The chosen applicant will be required to join and begin their duties as soon as possible. The open positions are for Permanent employment or Full time job. The shift schedule encompasses shift times which include Day and Weekend.

Job Description

  • The candidate must sweep, mop, wash and polish floors.
  • The candidate must dust furniture.
  • The candidate will be responsible for making beds and changing sheets.
  • The candidate must stock the linen closet.
  • The candidate will be expected to clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • The candidate must respond to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • The candidate will be responsible for picking up debris and emptying trash cans.
  • The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • The candidate will be expected to clean the windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • The candidate will be responsible for housekeeping duties.
  • The candidate will be responsible for cleaning and disinfecting the bathrooms and fixtures.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related industry.

Work setting

  • The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
  • The candidate should work in a room and board-provided setting, dedicated to fostering a culture of inclusion and well-being, where staff members thrive.
  • The candidate must work in the hotel laundry.

  • The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks on frequent basis.
