General farm worker – harvesting

Érablière du Lac Turner Inc. ( Pohénégamook, QC) is currently looking for a skilled General farm worker – harvesting. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment – Part time leading to full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Day, Weekend, Flexible hours, Overtime available, , 07:00 to 16:00.

Job Description

• The candidate must clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
• The candidate must train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality.
• The candidate must write daily basic progress reports.
• The candidate must clean work areas.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, livestock, and poultry.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry.
• The candidate must examine product for quality and market readiness.

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• The candidate must be able to lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs).
