Regent Hotel in Revelstoke, BC is inviting applications for the position of Food and beverage server. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, On call, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
• The candidate must present bills to customers and accept payments via cash, credit or debit cards, travellers’ cheques, or room billings.
• The candidate must describe menu items, including daily specials, for customers.
• The candidate must advise on menu selections.
• The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• The candidate must greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
• The candidate must serve food and beverages.
• The candidate must take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff.
• The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
