Job Description

The candidate should be responsible for feeding the animals.
The candidate will be required to clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens.
The candidate should regularly monitor animal health.
The candidate would be responsible for detecting disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry
The candidate will be required to regularly set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops.
The candidate will be in charge of coordinating waste removal.
The candidate should be responsible in ensuring cleanliness of the farm.
The candidate will be required to keep an up-to-date knowledge of pests and diseases.
The candidate will be in charge of providing pastures and fodder to ensure adequate nutritional levels.
The candidate will be in charge of breeding and raising livestock for meat production.
The candidate will be in charge of keeping and evaluating farm activity records, monitoring market activity, and planning production accordingly.
The candidate should be responsible for maintaining adequate stock for animal foods, medicines etc.
The candidate will be required to work in conjunction with large animal vets to provide herd health management, veterinary treatments, and routine vaccinations.
The candidate will be required to identify sick animals and work with veterinarian to determine proper treatment.
The candidate would be responsible for distributing food to pigs
The candidate will be responsible for observing animals for signs of illness and administering medication as needed.
The candidate will be required to performing facility maintenance
The candidate would be responsible for checking for proper ventilation and temperature conditions
The candidate will be required to assist with problem births
The candidate would be responsible for performing artificial insemination or other breeding duties
The candidate would be responsible for coordinating waste removal

The candidate will be required to maintain high standards of animal welfare
The candidate would be responsible for directing and overseeing general farming activities such as maintaining pens, sheds and cages, fertilising, controlling pests and weeds, and growing fodder.
The candidate will be required to maintain fences, equipment and water supply systems.
The candidate will be in charge of organising livestock and produce sales, purchases, and transportation.

The candidate will be expected to move livestock in order to maximise feeding opportunities.

The candidate will be required to use tools to move feed, animals and other equipment to the appropriate areas on the farm in an efficient manner.
The candidate will be required to carry out repair and maintenance work for farm machinery and equipment if and when required.
The candidate should ensure farm activities comply with government regulations.
The candidate should ensure uninterrupted water supply to the farm.
The candidate should be responsible for maintaining adequate stock for animal foods, medicines etc.
The candidate will be required to monitor and assess the health of the hens and quality of the eggs they produce.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in English or French language.
There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum 7 months to 1 year of working experience in similar industry
The candidate would be responsible for farm animal grooming.
The candidate would be in charge of keeping an inventory of the necessary feed ingredients.
The candidate must be physically fit.
The candidate should have good communication skill.
