Job Description

• The candidate must remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
• The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• The candidate must clean and stack salvaged materials.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must have a First Aid Certificate, a Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, a Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate, and a Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate.
• The candidate must complete a Fall Arrest Protection Training Course as well as Confined Space Entry Training.
• The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate should be client focused.
• The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate should be a good team player.
• The candidate should be reliable.

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work at heights.

Experience and specialization

Type of heavy equipment operated

• The candidate must have prior experience operating heavy equipment such as a bobcat.

Equipment and machinery experience

• The candidate must have prior experience with small front end loaders, air compressors, circular saws, forklifts, and grinding machines.

Construction specialization

• The candidate must be skilled in the construction of water mains, underground and tunnel work, pipelines, and industrial, commercial, and institutional buildings.

• The candidate must be bondable.
• The candidate should be subjected to a thorough criminal background check, drug test, and driving record check (abstract).

• The candidate must have their own transportation.
• The candidate must have their own vehicle.
