Job Description
- Candidates working in this post are appointed to monitor and resolve emergent regulatory issues particularly as they relate to compliance matters.
- They’re also required to lead the ongoing assessment and review of internal processes and controls to ensure OEB compliance and identify and implement process improvements.
- They’re also required to provide direction to other departments on the preparation of data and materials to be filed with the Ontario Energy Board and other regulators working at this post.
- Candidates for this post are appointed to manage communications between regulators, senior management and Hydro One.
- They’re appointed at this post to manage the department’s budget, and training and development needs.
- Candidates working in this post are required to maintain ongoing relationships with the regulator and other authorities.
- They’re required at this post to oversee the management of the Regulatory Affairs SharePoint site and support other departments with their respective Teams and Sharepoint sites.
- They’re also required to support and provide counsel to other departments in the Regulatory Division on applications and other matters working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates must attain a university bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, commerce, or similar to be eligible for this post.
- They must have completed dedicated post-graduate studies or accreditation in business, law, regulatory or audit to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must require 10-15 years of experience with a majority of that experience in a regulatory-related discipline to be eligible for this post.
- They must require experience leading teams and communicating effectively with executive leadership teams, Boards of Directors, and governmental bodies to be eligible for this post.
