Job Description
- Candidates working at this post are required to screen all patient charts before their appointment and also handle reviewing and assessing relevant laboratory data working at this post.
- They’re also appointed at this post for applying knowledge of nutrition requirements throughout the life cycle working at this post.
- They’re appointed at this post to translate scientific, medical, and nutrition information into practical, individualized nutrition recommendations for our clients and support them in goal setting.
- Candidates for this post are also required to determine potential nutrient, supplement, and drug interactions working at this post.
- Candidates will have to work collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal care to the clients.
Job requirement
- They must have completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutritional Science, and Nutrition Major to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have completed a dietetic Internship in a public or private healthcare environment to be preferred for this post.
- Candidates for this post must have completed the registration with the College of Dietitians of Alberta.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a clinical dietitian to be preferred for this post.
- They must have strong skills in communication, interpersonal interaction, organization, and time management.
- Candidates for this post must have dedicated experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team to be eligible for this post.
- They must have basic knowledge of literacy including Word, Excel, and Google Workplace tools to be preferred for this post.
