Job Description
- Applicants applying for this post are required to spend most of their day outside.
- Applicants are also appointed to deliver mail and packages by foot or by vehicle to customers on your route working at this post.
- Candidates working at this post are appointed to return to the depot to unload the day’s incoming mail and packages for later delivery applied for this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates applying for this post must have a valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s license with a safe driving record for at least 3 years to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attain the physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg regularly throughout the day to be preferred for this post.
- Applicants must attain the ability to work in all types of weather to be considered as an asset for this post.
- They must have prior experience in customer service and dedicated experience in making deliveries or working as a driver to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attain the availability to be on-call along with the ability to read, write and speak English and French to be considered as an asset for this post.
