Job Description
- Candidates working at this post are required to coordinate timely food service in the kitchen.
- Applicants are also appointed to assist Chef/Supervisor in day to day operation of the kitchen working at this post.
- Applicants who applied for this post are required to assist in the ordering of products and maintaining proper procedures for cleaning dishes and kitchen utensils working at this post.
- People applied for this post are required to provide the highest level of customer service consistently.
- Applicants are also appointed to provide direction to other Part Time Staff working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates must attain the ability to work independently of full-time, Permanent staff, including in the absence of a Chef for minor events and functions.
- They must have a minimum of 2 years of culinary work experience/and or formal training with strong food preparation, cooking and presentation skills to be considered as an asset for this post.
- They must have Food Handlers Certification and must attain Smart Serve certification to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have emergency First Aid/CPR “B” Certification required within 6 months of their employment.
- They must attain knowledge of WHMIS and Occupational Health & Safety to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must be able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays and a variety of early morning and late evening shifts to be eligible for this post.
