Job Description

• The candidate must be able to operate a cash register.
• The candidate must process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
• The candidate must scan items.
• The candidate will be responsible for receiving payment for goods or services.
• The candidate will be responsible for suggestive selling.
• The candidate must greet customers.
• The candidate will be responsible for assisting theatre patrons with seat selection.
• The candidate must wrap or place merchandise in bags.
• The candidate must provide excellent customer service.
• The candidate will be responsible for assisting customers with self-checkout.
• The candidate will be responsible for monitoring all entrances and exits and requesting proof of payment as necessary.
• The candidate must participate in promotional activities.
• The candidate must verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• Training will be provided to the selected candidate.

Work setting

• The candidate must work in a gas bar and a confectionery/corner store.
