Job description

The candidate will be required to tend to emotional well-being of children.
The candidate will be required to take children to and from school and to appointments.
The candidate will be required to supervise and care for children.
The candidate will be required to prepare and serve nutritious meals.
The candidate will be required to organize, activities such as games and outings for children.
The candidate will be required to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
The candidate will be required to instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
The candidate will be required to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
The candidate will be required to bathe the children.
The candidate will be required to dress the children.
The candidate will be required to feed children.
The candidate will be required to prepare children for rest periods.
The candidate will be required to help children with homework.
The candidate will be required to wash clothing and household linens.
The candidate will be required to iron and press clothing and household linens.
The candidate will be required to travel with family on trips.
The candidate will be required to assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
The candidate will be required to shop for food and household supplies.
The candidate will be required to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
The candidate will be required to assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.
The candidate will be required to tend to children of ages 3 years to kindergarten age (4 – 5 years).
The candidate will be required to work in the employer’s or the client’s home.

Requirements

The candidate should have a Secondary high school graduation certificate.
The candidate should have an experience of at least 1 year to less than 2 years.
The candidate should have knowledge in emergency child care first aid.
The candidate should be able to work in the employer’s home.
The candidate should be able to work under pressure.
The candidate should be able to manage repetitive tasks.
The candidate should be able to handle heavy loads.
The nature of the work will be physically demanding.
The candidate should be flexible.
The candidate should be focused on the client.
The candidate should be reliable.
