Job description
- Candidates will provide administrative and operational support, including payroll administration, invoice processing, billing coordination, closing work orders, and customer service to the Water and Wastewater/Stormwater divisions within the Environmental Services department to make sure efficient and effective distribution of key operational initiatives.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have a two (2) year College Diploma in Environmental Studies, Contract Administration, Payroll related discipline or suitable equivalent.
- They should possess a minimum of three (3) years related experience.
- They should be proficient keyboarding skills and working knowledge of People soft, JD Edwards and Microsoft applications.
- They need to be excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication (verbal and written) skills.
Work setting
- Candidates must have the ability to deal effectively and courteously with government agencies, the public and staff.
- They must have working knowledge and understanding of aspects of water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure and operations.
- They ought to possess knowledge of and demonstrated ability of City’s core competencies.
