Job Description

The candidate must build pallets.
The candidate must be capable of loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
The candidate must operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products.
The candidate must ship orders.
The candidate will be responsible for picking orders and stock.
The candidate must create labels and attach them to goods.
The candidate must wrap goods.
The candidate must pack and unpack goods.
The candidate must sort, crate, and stack goods.
The candidate must install, lash, and secure goods.
The candidate will be responsible for storing cargo and materials.
The candidate must organize and keep inventory.
The candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in English language.
The candidate must have a certificate or diploma in other trades.
Training will be provided to the selected candidate.
The candidate must be able to handle weights of up to 9 kg (20 lbs.), 23 kg (50 lbs.), and more than 45 kg (100 lbs.).
The candidate must be adaptable.
The candidate must be analytical.
The candidate must be efficient.
The candidate must be energetic.
The candidate must be hardworking.
The candidate must be proactive.
The candidate must be a quick learner.

Work setting

The candidate should work in a warehouse, which can be a noisy and busy environment with hundreds of warehouse operatives, pickers, and packers, as well as many forklift truck drivers moving pallets between shelves.
The candidate should work in manufacturing sectors, focusing on developing new products from raw materials or assembling various components using physical, chemical, or mechanical methods.

Experience and specialization

Equipment and machinery experience

The candidate must have prior experience using a forklift.

Vehicle and equipment experience

The candidate must have experience using dollies, hand trucks, industrial lift trucks, forklifts, and pallet lifters.
