Job Description
- Applicants working in this post are appointed for general administrative support within various departments, including Finance, Operations and Human Resources.
- They’re also appointed to perform research & preparation of stories for media, magazines, and websites in collaboration with subject matter experts working at this post.
- Candidates appointed to this post are required to consolidate and summarise data and develop program guidance documents and information management working at this post.
- Candidates appointed to this post are required to improve training materials, collect information and provide administrative support working at this post.
- They were also appointed at this post to maintain field unit geospatial and non-geospatial data and information in support of management activities and local implementations of national systems that utilize geomatics working at this post.
Job requirement
- Applicants must have dedicated experience working in a team environment.
- They must have fluency with Hootsuite, Twitter, and Facebook to get preferred for this post.
- Candidates must have prior experience using a canoe or kayak and/or operating a motorboat.
- Applicants must attain knowledge of the Parks Canada Agency the historic canals/waterways, and the services they provide to the public to be preferred for this post.
- They must attain the ability to assist in web development, including web writing and editing to be preferred for this post.
- They must have the ability to assist in photo cataloging, selection and preparation for the web to be considered as an asset for this post.
Work setting
- Candidates must attain the ability to assess information required to construct qualitative and quantitative products such as graphics, maps, charts, databases and reports.
- Lastly, candidates must have the ability to prioritize their workload and work independently with minimal supervision to be eligible for this post.
