Job Description 

  • Applicants working in this post are appointed for general administrative support within various departments, including Finance, Operations and Human Resources.

Job requirement 

  • Applicants must have dedicated experience working in a team environment.
  • They must have fluency with Hootsuite, Twitter, and Facebook to get preferred for this post.
  • Candidates must have prior experience using a canoe or kayak and/or operating a motorboat.
  • Applicants must attain knowledge of the Parks Canada Agency the historic canals/waterways, and the services they provide to the public to be preferred for this post.
  •  They must attain the ability to assist in web development, including web writing and editing to be preferred for this post.
  • They must have the ability to assist in photo cataloging, selection and preparation for the web to be considered as an asset for this post.

Work setting 

  • Candidates must attain the ability to assess information required to construct qualitative and quantitative products such as graphics, maps, charts, databases and reports.
  • Lastly, candidates must have the ability to prioritize their workload and work independently with minimal supervision to be eligible for this post.
