Job Description
- Candidates working at this post are appointed to manage translation records, conduct terminology research and maintain and expand terminology banks applied for this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates must attain the ability to pass an OPP background/ security investigation to be eligible for this post.
- They must attain dedicated knowledge of contemporary multimedia and social media to adapt translations to these formats to be eligible for this post.
- People must attain the ability to respond to demands and set priorities to be eligible for this post.
- People applying for this post must have organizational/prioritization skills to manage and complete tasks in an environment of shifting priorities and consideration of client and bureau needs.
- People must attain the ability to coordinate the translation of numerous high-priority documents simultaneously to be considered an asset for this post.
- Candidates who apply for this post must have superior English and French language skills to provide translation services for a variety of complex subjects to be eligible for the post.
- They must attain the ability to provide a translation that ensures the meaning, intent and feeling of the originator’s message is conveyed to be considered as an asset for this post.
Work setting
- People applying for this post must have oral and written communication skills to provide accurate translation services in terms of vocabulary and facility with grammar, sentence structure and syntax in English and French to be eligible for this post.
