Job Description
- The candidate must prepare, measure, and mark the surfaces to be covered.
- The candidate must mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives with a hand trowel.
- The candidate must position tiles and apply pressure to secure them to the base.
- The candidate will be responsible for aligning and straightening tiles.
- The candidate must prepare tenders and quotations.
- The candidate must cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings with hand and power cutting tools.
- The candidate must pack grout into the joints between tiles and remove any excess grout.
- The candidate will be responsible for removing and replacing cracked or damaged tiles.
- The candidate will be responsible for supervising other workers.
- The candidate will be responsible for laying and setting mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs.
- The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
- The candidate will be responsible for installing tile strips.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must be able to supervise 1 to 2 people.

- The candidate should work in a commercial setting that produces a workforce full of highly competent, respectful, mature, and accountable employees working toward a common goal.
- The candidate should work in residential settings, focusing on tasks performed on one, two, and three-family dwellings
