Job Description

  • Candidates interested in this post are also accountable for supporting and maintaining a mission-critical CAD system, including a VMWare cluster, Windows servers, MS SQL servers, and Windows Active Directory on a 7*24 basis.
  • They’re also accountable at this post to support CAD and maintain applications, like VisiCAD, Optima, ProQA, PDS, Locution, OneDesk App, Korono, and Tele staff working at this post.
  • Candidates interested in this post are also appointed to support and maintain system management and security servers, like Symantec, BeyondTrust, and WSUS working at this post.
  • People interested in this post are also appointed to manage the Life Cycle Support for the Division’s Mobile communication system and endpoint devices working at this post.

Job requirement

  • Candidates must attain post-secondary education of experience working on information technology projects or the approved equivalent combination of education and experience to be eligible for this post.
  • They must have extensive experience supporting Mobile computing endpoint devices, including IOS, Android, and Windows-based devices, to be considered as an asset for this post.
  • Applicants must possess a valid Ontario Class “G” Driver’s License and must attain the ability to work overtime or work at remote sites when required.
  • They must have familiarity with government legislation in the area of Occupational Health and Safety to be considered as an asset for this post.

Work setting

  • Candidates are also accountable for providing suggestions on strategic development in the Division’s mobile communication system.
  • They’re also appointed to provide input into and administer assigned budgets, ensuring that expenditures are controlled and maintained within approved budget limitations working at this post.
