Job Description
- Candidates working in this post are appointed to provide information to the visiting public, litter picking and group cleaning, and regulation and safety compliance.
- They’re also appointed to provide comprehensive information to the visiting public on a wide variety of topics.
- Candidates working in this post are appointed to provide visitor services to enhance visitor experience and clean and maintain Parks Canada Agency area buildings, facilities and grounds.
- Candidates working in this post are appointed to conduct surveys with visitors at various locations in Banff National Park.
Job requirement
- Candidates must be enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary school in an accredited institution and those participate in adult education to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must provide service excellence to visitors and external or internal clients to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must be able to work shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime to be eligible for this post.
- They must be able to perform repetitive tasks like lifting heavy boxes, picking litter, and site maintenance.
- They must be able to work outdoors and be exposed to various weather conditions.
- Candidates must attain a valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license or equivalent to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must be willing and able to dust, wash walls and windows, and clean washrooms.
- Candidates must be able to wear a Parks Canada uniform and safety equipment.
Work setting
- They must attain successful completion and maintenance of reliable security clearance including fingerprints.
