Job Description

  • The candidate will be required to operate cleaning machines.
  • The candidate will be required to clean soot and creosote from chimneys and fire places.
  • The candidate will be expected to clean furnace ducts, vents, and filters.
  • The candidate will be expected to clean the building’s exterior, tanks, chimneys, and industrial equipment.
  • The candidate will be required to wash and clean interior and exterior windows as well as other glass surfaces.
  • The candidate will be required to vacuum floors.
  • The candidate will be required to shampoo upholstery.
  • The candidate must provide excellent customer service.
  • The candidate will be required to vacuuming carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture.
  • The candidate will be required to move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies.
  • The candidate will be required to work with minimal supervision.
  • The candidate will be expected to clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • The candidate will be in charge of sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs.
  • The candidate will be required to use industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
  • The candidate will be required to remove excess water and moisture from window sills using towelling cloths.
  • The candidate must ensure optimal levels of security when working outside and with hooks.
  • The candidate should ensure in protecting equipment and making sure there are no inadequacies.
  • The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and tidy environment while also paying attention to clients or service users’ wishes.
  • The candidate will be required to perform and track routine inspection.
  • The candidate would be responsible for monitoring and maintaining sanitation and organization of assigned areas.
  • At the end of the shift, the candidate must ensure that all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored.

Equipment and Machinery Experience

  • The candidate must have prior experience operating Steam cleaners.

Surface Preparation Experience

  • The candidate must have Surface Preparation experience in Water/hydroblasting.

Security and Safety

  • The candidate should be subjected to a thorough criminal background check and drug test.
  • The candidate should have clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations.

Own Tools/Equipment

  • The candidate will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots, safety equipment/gear, and a uniform.

Work Site Environment

  • The candidates will be required to work in confined spaces.
  • The candidate should be willing to work in an outdoor environment for long hours.
  • The candidate must be able to work at heights
  • The candidate will be required to work in wet, damp, dusty, hot or cold environments.

Transportation/Travel Information
