Job Description
- The candidate will be appointed to serve in the vehicle program department as an automotive engineer.
- The candidate will have to research, test, and implement new technologies to help improve safety, reliability, and cost efficiency on all revenue and non-revenue TTC vehicles.
- Candidates will also have to investigate and diagnose complex problems with the vehicle and its systems.
- Candidates will have to prepare, verify, modify, and approve specifications and drawings and also perform safety, maintainability and reliability analyses.
- Candidates will have to plan, coordinate and conduct comprehensive test programs.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have completed a post-secondary college diploma or university degree in a related discipline or combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent.
- Candidates must attain dedicated comprehensive knowledge of formal systems engineering techniques applied to complex electro-mechanical systems and automotive design fundamentals.
- Candidate must attain demonstrated specialized expertise and knowledge in the assigned field
- They must have the proper understanding and apply relevant laws and regulations knowledge.
