Job Description

• The candidate will be responsible for addressing and documenting patient symptoms and conditions.
• The candidate must assess patients in order to identify appropriate nursing interventions.
• The candidate must collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families.
• The candidate must perform a disease screening.
• The candidate must deliver health education programs.
• The candidate must dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
• The candidate will be responsible for operating or monitoring medical equipment or apparatus.
• The candidate must be able to provide nursing care.
• The candidate must perform administrative tasks.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate must have College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
• Candidate having experience is an asset.
• The candidate must have Intravenous (IV) therapy Certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and be licensed as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities.
• The candidate should be accurate.
• The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• The candidate should be organized and flexible in nature.
• The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
• The candidate should be reliable.
• The candidate should be a good team player.
• The candidate must have excellent time management skills.
