Job Description
- The candidate must be able to operate a cash register.
- The candidate must be able to use computerised inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems.
- The candidate will be expected to provide merchandise advice.
- The candidate will be expected to assist with merchandise display.
- The candidate must conduct sales transactions via Internet-based electronic commerce.
- The candidate will be expected to estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
- The candidate must greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services desired for purchase, rental, or lease.
- The candidate will be required to keep sales records for inventory control.
- The candidate must prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease.
- The candidate must prepare sales, rental, or leasing contracts and accept payment by cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit.
- The candidate must supervise staff (apprentices, stage hands, design team, etc.).
- The candidate must teach courses of interest or professional development.
- Fashion designers design and manufacture clothes and accessories for men, women, and children.
- Exhibit designers plan and create permanent and temporary or movable exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade events, conventions, retail spaces, and other exhibitions.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
