Job Description

  • The candidate must assist health care practitioners during examinations and treatments.
  • The candidate will be responsible for monitoring patients and notifying the physician of any changes in their condition.
  • The candidate must assess patients in order to identify appropriate nursing interventions.
  • The candidate must collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families.
  • The candidate must dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
  • The candidate must engage in nursing-related research activities.
  • The candidate must be able to provide nursing care.
  • The candidate must perform administrative tasks.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must have a CPR and First Aid Certificate, be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in the province or territory where they work, and be licensed as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities.
  • The candidate should be accurate.
  • The candidate should be client focused.
  • The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • The candidate should be organized and flexible in nature.
