Job Description

  • Candidates are responsible for planning and managing the day-to-day delivery and operations of cybersecurity policy and control, digital risk mitigation, and security incident management programs and services working at this post.
  • Candidates are also responsible for the development, approval, and implementation of cybersecurity policies and standards working at this post.
  • People who applied for this post are responsible for delivering and overseeing cybersecurity and digital risk management programs across all City business lines working at this post.

Job requirement

  • Candidates must have completed a 4-year university degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Risk Management, or another related field to be eligible for this post.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 6 years of related experience establishing corporate programs while building strong partnerships with oversight functions to be considered as an asset for this post.
  • Candidates must acquire related Information/Technology Security certification to be considered as an asset for this post.
  • They must have completed Information Security, Compliance and Risk Management programs and best practices, preferably within the Tech and Public Administration Sectors.
  • Candidates must have dedicated experience in building or maintaining risk management programs across a wide variety of regulatory and compliance frameworks to be considered as an asset for this post.

Work setting

  • Candidate must know business administration concepts, theories, principles and methodologies working at this post.
  • They must have completed corporate policies, guidelines and practices and must have various Collective Agreements in place at the City to be eligible for this post.
