Job Description
- They’re appointed to facilitate and coordinate the installation and commissioning of distribution equipment and material availability and create work orders.
- They’re also appointed for building relationships with current, repeat and potential customers and external contacts.
- Candidates are appointed to respond to customer inquiries including but not limited to installation costs, bill calculations, and the scheduling of work.
- They’re also appointed to provide direction to other roles within the department.
- Candidates are also appointed to perform duties of a minor nature related to the above duties, including driving a vehicle, which does not affect the rating of the job.
Job requirement
- Candidates must attain dedicated completion of a post-secondary Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering Technologist Diploma.
- Candidates must attain a dedicated certification or be deemed eligible for certification at the technologist level by the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of British Columbia (ASTTBC).
- They must attain 4 years of directly related relevant work experience and a minimum of 2 years of experience working directly on electrical design.
- Candidates must attain strong organizational skills including the ability to multitask.
